My approach

Connection to nourishment

True wellness is achieved through a comprehensive approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. By integrating nutrition, emotional well-being, and physical vitality, I empower my clients to embrace nourishment in all forms. This balanced approach fosters sustainable health and vitality, encouraging long-term wellness through mindful practices and wholesome, whole foods.

Wellness through self-awareness

The belief that wellness is a personal journey is at the heart of my approach. I empower individuals to take control of their health through self-awareness, education, and practical tools. This approach is designed to provide the support and guidance needed to help clients make lasting, meaningful changes, ensuring they feel confident and equipped to prioritize their health for the long haul.

Living in harmony with nature

Proper health begins with connecting to our food, environment, and ourselves. By reconnecting to whole foods, local, seasonal ingredients, and the rhythms of nature, I strive to foster optimal health and long-lasting vitality. Through my sessions, I encourage mindful eating, moving away from ultra-processed foods, and embracing a lifestyle that harmonizes with the world around us.

My journey to holistic wellness

I was born and raised in Cranbrook, BC, where I spent much of my childhood hiking, camping, and biking in the breathtaking outdoors. Growing up with such a strong connection to nature shaped who I am today. This love for the natural world has stayed with me throughout my life and influenced my career and personal passions.

After 22 years as a Certified Dental Assistant, I realized I needed a change.

I wanted to spend more time outdoors and have the freedom to create a healthier, more balanced life for myself and my family. That's when I decided to pivot and pursue my true calling: helping others live healthier, more connected lives. I then completed my diploma in Holistic Nutrition at the Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences and became a Certified Life Coach through Rhodes Wellness College.

My passion for movement and nature

Along with my education, I have a deep passion for trail running, ultramarathons, hiking, and outdoor activities. I love spending time on the trails, whether running, hiking, or biking. The freedom I feel when out in nature fuels me daily. This connection to nature is key to sustaining proper health and vitality.

Working as a hiking guide and holistic nutritionist at one of the world’s top-rated wellness retreats in the beautiful Kootenay region has allowed me to combine my expertise in both nature and nutrition. This role has allowed me to help individuals reset their health and well-being in a globally recognized, stunning environment.

My roots to intentional living

As a mother of two boys, family has always been at the heart of everything I do. My oldest son’s journey with Autoimmune Liver Hepatitis deepened my commitment to holistic living, teaching me the importance of being present and modelling a healthy, active lifestyle for those I love. Yet, for many years, I believed being healthy meant pushing myself to the brink, sacrificing my needs for others, and striving for perfection in every area of life.

For much of my adult life, I wore the label of a “healthy overachiever.”

As an ultra-runner, I looked like the picture of health on the outside, but on the inside, I was in a constant state of imbalance. Running became a way to control and perfect—a relentless push to prove my worth. I poured everything into meeting others’ needs, leaving little time or energy to listen to my own.

The pressure to excel in my career, fitness, and family life took a toll.

I felt guilty for resting, as if pausing meant I wasn’t doing enough. “You can sleep when you’re dead,” I’d tell myself, trading proper rest for endless miles, quick fixes, and convenience foods that kept me going in the short term but left me depleted in the long run. Chronic stress became my baseline. My hormones fell out of balance. My body was fatigued, my diet was insufficient, and I was unable to recover from injuries.

The pressure to excel in my career, fitness, and family life took a toll.

My body was sending me every signal that it couldn’t keep up with the demands I placed on it, but I ignored those signs out of guilt and fear of letting others down. I realized that my pursuit of perfection and my tendency to prioritize everyone else came at the expense of my health, joy, and ability to thrive truly.

This breaking point taught me a powerful lesson: proper health isn’t about relentless achievement or looking “perfect” on the outside. It’s about balance, nourishment, and listening to the needs of your body, mind, and spirit.

Today, my mission is to empower high-achieving women to reconnect with their true selves, align with the rhythms of nature, and cultivate sustainable habits that nourish their mind, body, and spirit.

Through personalized guidance, seasonal living, and mindful practices, I help women create balance, vitality, and lasting wellness—so they can thrive in every area of their lives.
